As the title implies this site is devoted to the entertainer who more than anybody ever has been referred to as THE WORLD'S GREATEST ENTERTAINER. Plus at the same time not only focus on the activities of the JOLSON SOCIETY OF AUSTRALIA
devoted to him, but also periodically the many different performers past and present who in some way or another have some connection with him, either via some direct means or an influential one. This varies from people like Bing Crosby and Eddie Cantor to Bob Dylan and Rod Stewart.
It will also focus over time on all the aspects of entertainment Al Jolson was involved in and had a profound impact on, which is undoubtedly every aspect of it. Details of course regarding releases of commercial Al Jolson and other products will also be included when possible. The preferred option of course to have the opportunity to participate more thoroughly in the above mentioned and to have more opportunity to participate in functions presenting rare movies, documentaries, live performances, special audio features, tributes, interviews etc, and or to purchase them, along with ongoing newsletters, articles, photos, magazines, sheet music, and various paraphernalia, is to join and or participate in the activities of the JOLSON SOCIETY OF AUSTRALIA.
